Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) Consultant with hands on experience in Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC) to join our client s data management team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in enhancing enterprise data quality, metadata management, and governance strategies to support business objectives and compliance requirements.

Locations: Dallas, TX, Columbus, OH & Apex, NC

Key Responsibilities:

    • Design, develop, and implement data quality solutions using Informatica IDQ.
    • Configure and deploy data profiling, cleansing, parsing, standardization, and matching rules.
    • Collaborate with business and technical teams to define data quality metrics and scorecards.
    • Utilize Informatica CDGC for metadata management, data lineage, and governance policy enforcement.
    • Integrate IDQ and CDGC components within the enterprise data architecture (on-prem and/or cloud).
    • Maintain and enhance data quality dashboards and reports.
    • Participate in data governance initiatives, helping define and implement best practices.
    • Perform root cause analysis for data quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
    • Ensure alignment of data quality practices with business requirements and data compliance standards.

Required Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica Data Quality (IDQ).
    • 1 2 years of experience with Informatica Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC).
    • Strong understanding of data quality frameworks, including profiling, validation, cleansing, and matching.
    • Experience working with metadata management, business glossary, and data lineage tools.
    • Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and relational databases.
    • Familiarity with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) is a plus.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

    • Informatica certifications (IDQ and/or CDGC).
    • Experience working in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments.
    • Knowledge of data governance frameworks such as DAMA-DMBOK.
    • Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
