Description

We are looking for an Software Engineer that specializes in API's. This role is situated in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and requires to be onsite weekly. This is NOT A FULLY REMOTE OPPORTUNITY. This role will involve developing API's, evaluating product specifications, designing and implementing new features, and collaborating with teams across the company. Responsibilities:

Develop and enhance API's

Evaluate product specifications and provide estimations on completion timelines

Design, implement and deploy new features

Collaborate with teams across the company to engineer and build essential systems

Engage with backend teams overseeing APIs and other services

Apply coding and design skills to ensure efficient API development

Utilize knowledge of Microservices and Object Oriented Programming in the design and implementation of systems.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years' experience working with API's and Microservices

Proficiency in Coding, Design, API Development, Microservices, and Object Oriented Programming.

Proven ability to analyze and solve complex technical challenges.

Demonstrated experience with software development methodologies and practices.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Continual learner, staying updated with emerging trends and technologies in the industry.

Commitment to adhering to best practices, standards, and procedures.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
