Job Title: Tender & Project Procurement Specialist
Location: Raleigh, NC
Work Model: Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 remote)
Travel: As required within the U.S.
Duration: Long-term opportunity
Role Summary
Lead end-to-end procurement activities for large EPC and infrastructure projects, supporting both tender (pre-award) and execution (post-award) phases. This role owns the Project Procurement Plan (PPP), drives on-time delivery of critical equipment, and partners cross-functionally to meet cost, schedule, quality, and compliance objectives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Integrate Supply Chain into tender strategy, sourcing plans, RFQs, cost estimates, and risk assessments
  • Lead project procurement execution post-award, including PPP ownership and procurement scheduling
  • Coordinate supplier selection, techno-commercial evaluations, and contract negotiations (price, delivery, terms)
  • Drive expediting and on-time delivery (OTD) for long-lead and critical-path materials
  • Manage supplier performance, quality plans (ITPs), FAT/SAT, documentation, and NCR closure
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, Logistics, Quality, Finance, and Legal teams
  • Track procurement KPIs, risks, and progress; publish regular dashboards and reports
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of procurement/supply chain experience in EPC, utilities, energy, or industrial projects
  • Strong experience with project procurement planning, expediting, and supplier management
  • Proficiency in SAP (or similar ERP), Primavera P6/MS Project, Excel/Power BI
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to work in a high-volume, cross-functional environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP, CPSM/CSCP, or Lean/Six Sigma certification
  • Experience with global sourcing, logistics, and supplier development
