Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist 2 (QAS2)

Location: Onsite Shipley Building, 1970 West Broad Street, Columbus, OH
Interviews: Must be conducted in-person at the Shipley Building
Position Type: Contract, Onsite only
Job Description:
ODPS is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist 2 (QAS2) to support the design, piloting, and implementation of software quality assurance processes. The role requires the consultant to be onsite at the Shipley Building and participate in the full QA lifecycle for various IT projects, including developing and executing manual and automated test plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively engage in the end-to-end software testing cycle.
- Follow direction from and report to the QA Manager.
- Contribute to establishing and meeting project-specific quality goals.
- Establish metrics, apply QA best practices, and develop tools/processes to support quality objectives.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and procedures (both manual and automated).
- Work with the project team to test software updates, patches, and repairs across development, test, and QA environments.
- Develop and promote software changes following ODPS standards.
- Take corrective actions to resolve issues identified during testing (with management approval).
- Design, execute, and maintain automated test scripts.

Interview Process:
- Candidates must be willing and able to attend in-person interviews at the Shipley Building.
- Interviews will assess both technical expertise and relevant experience.
