Duration: 6-12 months

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Python QA Expert with hands-on experience in the insurance domain, specifically in rating and pricing validations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automated testing, data validation, and insurance product configuration, with a focus on ensuring accuracy and compliance in pricing algorithms and rating engines.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python for rating and pricing validation.
Validate insurance product configurations, rating factors, and pricing logic across various platforms.
Collaborate with actuarial, product, and development teams to understand rating algorithms and ensure accurate implementation.
Perform data-driven testing and regression testing for insurance products.
Analyze and troubleshoot issues in rating engines and pricing modules.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and business rules in pricing validations.
Document test cases, test results, and QA processes clearly and effectively.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to QA best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong proficiency in Python for test automation and data validation.
5+ years of experience in QA/testing, with at least 2 years in the insurance domain.
Deep understanding of insurance rating/pricing systems, preferably in P&C (Property & Casualty) insurance.
Experience with tools like PyTest, Selenium, or other automation frameworks.
Familiarity with JSON/XML, SQL, and REST APIs.
Knowledge of actuarial models and rating algorithms is a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Guidewire, Duck Creek, or other insurance platforms.
Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
Certification in QA or insurance-related domains is a plus.
