Job Details

Position description:

As a Senior DevOps Site Reliability Engineer, you will join a team responsible for continuous improvement and support of customer facing products. Responsibilities will include developing new solutions to solve complex business and technical needs; collecting and analyzing system requirements; researching, evaluating, and selecting technology solutions; and automating build, deployment, and testing processes for systems in production datacenters. This position will be expected to mentor junior team members in DevOps and SRE workflows, and will have opportunities to lead cross-team projects, coordinating activities across the IT, Development, and Product Management groups.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, CIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience
  • 4+ years related experience in Development and/or Network and Server Administration role
  • 2+ years related experience in DevOps oriented role preferred
  • Experience with virtualization, GIT and/or subversion, scripting and automation, server hardware, and/or network communications
  • Experience with both Windows and Linux server operating systems
  • Preferred programming and scripting languages include: SQL, PowerShell, Python, PHP, Bash, C/C++, C#
  • Preferred industry standard certifications include: A+, Server+, Security+, Linux+, Network+, CISSP, CCNA/CCNP, MCSA/MCSE
  • Desire and ability to quickly learn and apply new skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
