Our client is seeking an experienced Cable Engineer to join their team. This role is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a customer-facing environment and is skilled in solution validation within the Service Provider space, specifically in the Cable segment. The Cable Engineer will play a crucial role in engaging with customers to successfully plan and execute validation engagements, ensuring the seamless implementation of new platforms and solutions. Our client is seeking an experienced Cable Engineer to join their team. The Cable Engineer will play a crucial role in engaging with customers to successfully plan and execute validation engagements, ensuring the seamless implementation of new platforms and solutions. Responsibilities:
- Engage directly with customers and internal stakeholders to plan and execute solution validation engagements.
- Support the implementation of new platforms and solutions for Service Provider customers, focusing on the Cable segment.
- Analyze test requirements, design lab configurations, and develop comprehensive test plans.
- Execute detailed test plans and document the results to ensure solutions meet customer requirements.
- Identify and address key issues and gaps, collaborating with engineering and delivery teams for resolution.
- Innovate processes to enhance efficiency and accelerate the validation efforts.
- Work closely with Solution Architects and Sales teams to align solutions with customer needs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience working with MSOs or equivalent experience in cable platforms.
- Expertise in DOCSIS (Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification) with at least 5 years of applied experience.
- Experience with Remote PHY technology is preferred.
- Strong foundational knowledge in RF (Radio Frequency) principles.
- Proficiency in IOS-XE and familiarity with network operating systems.
- Experience utilizing network test tools such as Ixia/KeySight is advantageous.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams.
