Job Details

Are you ready to take flight in a dynamic role that combines engineering expertise with a passion for aviation and federal projects? As a Fueling Electrical Engineer within our Aviation & Federal (ANF) Global Practice, you'll be at the forefront of designing and implementing critical systems that keep aircraft fueled and ready for takeoff.

What You'll Do:

Collaborate with the fueling electrical team to create cutting-edge design deliverables for Aircraft Systems (Fueling & Ramp Services) and Federal Fueling Business Lines.

Engage with clients across the US, including private airlines, public airports, city entities, and the US Department of Defense.

Dive into projects of varying sizes and complexities, from single-tank gas stations to million-barrel bulk fuel storage depots and high-volume aviation fuel facilities.

Take ownership of critical Electrical tasks:

Develop AC power systems, one-line diagrams, motor starter schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, area classification drawings, grounding plans, and lighting layouts.

Specify electrical equipment, including coordination with public utilities, low-voltage motor control centers, transformers, generators, transfer switches, and power distribution centers (PDCs).

Design facility support systems, such as site surveillance, gate access, lightning protection, and operations buildings.

Crunch numbers: perform cable sizing, voltage drop, conduit sizing, and other essential calculations.

Analyze electrical systems for load flow, short circuit, arc-flash hazards, and breaker settings.

Dive into Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) tasks:

Collaborate with the fuel mechanical discipline to develop Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).

Craft system control philosophies and alarm setpoints, ensuring seamless operation.

Provide expertise in EI&C (Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls) components.

What We're Looking For:

Passion for aviation and federal projects.

Strong technical skills in electrical engineering, including familiarity with power systems, equipment design, and facility support systems.

Ability to navigate complex calculations and system analyses.

Collaborative spirit and a knack for working within multidisciplinary teams.

Eagerness to contribute to critical infrastructure projects that impact our nation's transportation and defense.
