RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Hybrid IT Associate to join their team in Alpharetta, GA.
Responsibilities:
User Support & Troubleshooting:
* Serve as the first point of contact for helpdesk inquiries, managing tickets in Zendesk or similar platforms
* Troubleshoot hardware/software issues, escalating to IT Lead or senior team members when necessary
* Provide training and guidance to end users on application usage and best practices
Account & Access Management:
* Assist in Azure AD and Entra ID user provisioning (creating accounts, assigning licenses, managing group memberships)
* Support guest user onboarding/offboarding and administer team groups and security groups
* Help maintain conditional access policies, multifactor authentication (MFA), and password reset procedures
Device Management:
* Enroll devices in Intune, configure compliance policies, and ensure endpoint protection measures are active
* Coordinate the setup, provisioning, and deprovisioning of laptops and other hardware
* Monitor device inventories, track licensing usage, and coordinate hardware repairs or replacements
Documentation & Knowledge Base Maintenance:
* Update and maintain IT knowledge-base articles related to user onboarding, incident response, and security protocols
* Archive and version older documentation, ensuring clarity and consistency across guides.
* Collaborate with the IT Lead to create new procedures and checklists, keeping them up to date and compliant with SOC 2 requirements
Security & Compliance Support:
* Assist in performing routine security audits (e.g., checking privileged access, verifying break-glass accounts)
* Participate in SOC 2 evidence collection, ensuring records and approvals are well-documented
* Execute monthly or quarterly license audits, security reviews, and compliance checklists as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
* Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or relevant field (or equivalent experience)
* 1-3 years of experience in an IT support or operations role, preferably in a cloud-centric environment
* Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Suite, Azure AD, Intune, and ticketing systems (Zendesk or similar)
* Basic understanding of security concepts, compliance (SOC 2), and identity management best practices
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to explain technical concepts clearly
* Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
* Proactive, with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced startup environment
* Foundation in hardware and software troubleshooting, device setup, and basic networking
* Microsoft certifications are preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
