Detailed Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced OBIEE Administrator to manage, support, and maintain Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) environments. The ideal candidate will have expertise in OBIEE software installation, patching, configuration, and environment management, along with middleware support.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform OBIEE administration tasks including installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching.
  • Build and maintain new OBIEE environments, ensuring proper configuration for development, test, and production.
  • Manage and support application deployment and configuration in OBIEE.
  • Provide middleware environment support, including troubleshooting and performance tuning.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure optimal BI platform availability.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues in OBIEE and WebLogic environments.
  • Maintain documentation for system configurations, upgrades, and procedures.

Must have skills:

  • Hands-on experience with OBIEE 11g/12c Administration
  • Experience with OBIEE installation, patching, and configuration
  • Knowledge of WebLogic Server and middleware architecture
  • Proficiency in Linux/Unix command-line operations
  • Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
  • Experience in deployment and configuration support for BI apps
  • Understanding of database connectivity and data sources (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Oracle certifications (OBIEE, WebLogic, etc.)
  • Experience with automation scripts (Shell, Python)
  • Familiarity with cloud BI environments (Oracle Cloud, AWS)
