Hi All,
Engine Test and Validation Engineer
Middletown, CT.
Day 1 onsite, Local candidate preferred
Shift Timings - 2nd shift (2pm/3pm to 10pm/11pm Mon - Fri)
In this role, you will be working alongside OEM customer teams performing engineering validation tasks supporting aircraft engine development, testing and certification.
Responsibilities
Coordinate engine test and/or assembly/tear-down actions between the technicians and IPT/Engineering groups.
Communicate technical issues to IPT/Engineering groups and work with cross-functional teams to support finding solutions
Collect and report flight test data and/or engine assembly/disassembly status to IPT/Engineering groups
Local candidates in Connecticut required. Variable shift work sometimes required
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
BS in Engineering or Associate degree with relevant work experience
2+ years relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Strong analytical, creative problem-solving capabilities
Experience in technical management of engine parts, repair, engine test, engine assembly and disassembly
Familiar with engine work instructions, part/assembly drawings and materials lists
Proficient in MS Excel and Powerpoint
Active security clearance preferred but not required
