Experienced Network Engineer (5-8 years of experience)
Comfortable with and capable of racking, cabling, and powering common Enterprise/Datacenter grade Network equipment
Experience with the installation, basic configuration, advanced configuration, and troubleshooting the following Network equipment:
Cisco Nexus 9k's
Cisco Catalyst 9300L's
Palo Alto Networks PA-1410 Firewalls
Meraki Wireless Access Points
Should have familiarity with / be able to configure the following network concepts/technologies/protocols:
OSI Model
Subnetting
HSRP
Spanning-tree Protocol
SPAN/Mirror ports
VRFs
Static Routing
VPC
Port-Channels / Etherchannels
NAT
IPSEC VPNs
Palo Alto GlobalProtect Client VPN
Would be a plus if the candidate also has familiarity with some or all the following (but not required):
Basic knowledge of compute systems (Dell)
Basic knowledge of SAN storage (NetApp & Synology)
Knowledge of Fiber Channel Switching (Cisco MDS)
Knowledge of Raritan Console servers
Familiarity with Windows Server and Linux operating systems
Cohesity Backups
Any prior experience with Network/Systems/Storage Automation experience is a huge plus
