Job Overview

Our client is seeking a seasoned technologist and manager with deep expertise in Airtable. The ideal candidate will be responsible for streamlining, upgrading, and managing Airtable-based products. This role requires a proactive leader who can architect robust solutions, automate complex workflows, and drive efficiency within a dynamic, multi-vendor environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize complex Airtable bases, including architecture, field structure, and linked relationships.
• Develop and implement advanced automations and integrations to connect Airtable with other platforms and tools.
• Write custom, robust scripts using JavaScript to extend Airtable's functionality, automate user actions, and create scalable data processing workflows.
• Architect and manage end-to-end workflows, ensuring they are efficient, reliable, and meet business requirements.
• Implement and automate data integrity processes, utilizing advanced data cleansing techniques and fuzzy logic.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues swiftly to minimize disruption.
• Collaborate effectively within a multi-vendor, multi-cultural, distributed team across a complex organizational structure.
• Manage projects independently, demonstrating the ability to deliver work on time without requiring significant handholding.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Must-Have:
• 3-5+ years of hands-on experience with Airtable, including base design, automation, and integration capabilities.
• Strong proficiency in writing custom Airtable scripts using JavaScript.
• Solid understanding of database concepts, data management, and data architecture principles.
• Proven experience with integration tools and platforms that connect with Airtable.
• Expertise in automating data integrity processes, including data cleansing and fuzzy logic implementation.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in a complex, multi-vendor, distributed team environment.
• Preferred:
• Experience in a lead or managerial capacity, guiding projects and influencing best practices.
• Skilled in writing advanced scripts to automate user actions and improve operational efficiency.
• Proficient in architecting and deploying custom, robust, and scalable data processing workflows.
