Volt is immediately hiring for Integration & Test Engineer in Richardson, Texas
As Integration & Test Engineer you will be responsible for:
In Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) we integrate, verify, and validate our products. We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. To accomplish this, we develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments, and work hand-in-hand with our customers.
What You Will Do:
This role includes but is not limited to:
Conduct integration and test activities as a member of an Agile Release Train team
Identify technical issues during software and hardware integration and collaborate with fellow engineers to drive solutions to closure
Development of automated test scripts and their execution
Troubleshooting and debugging issues
Work in an Agile program environment
This is a Contract opportunity for 12 months.
Security Clearance Required TS clearance eligible for SCI
The Ideal candidate will have:
- Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of five years of prior relevant systems integration and test experience or three years of relevant experience with a Master's degree in STEM.
Experience with systems integration and test for a software product, in an Agile, CI/CD environment including regression testing, test scripting, and test automation tools
Hands-on Integration and Test engineering experience
Experience troubleshooting and debugging a software-based system or product
Experience with Linux Red Hat, Python, and Perl.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience working in a Satellite Ground System development or operations environment
Experience with ground station and satellite domains (such as terrestrial data networking, command and telemetry, launch operations, flight dynamics, mission planning, on-orbit operations)
Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
Test Automation experience (Cucumber, Gherkin, Zypher)
Experience with Java, C++, or Python
Experience with Linux operating system
Experience in a Cloud environment; AWS certification is helpful
CompTIA Security + or equivalent certification
Pay Rate:- $75 - $85/hr
