Job Overview:
We are seeking experienced Project Manager/Business Analysts to lead and support complex IT initiatives for the NYC Department of Education (NYCDOE). The ideal candidate will have a solid background in both project management and business analysis, ensuring projects are delivered on time and in alignment with departmental goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project lifecycle activities, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to contract requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to define project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource planning.
- Identify, document, escalate, and resolve project risks and issues using DIIT's approved systems.
- Draft and manage process flow documentation, communication strategies, status updates, and project deliverables.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams, schools, Borough Technology Directors, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct data analysis and generate reports to support project decisions.
- Manage and prepare supporting documentation for invoice fulfillment and senior leadership signoff.
Required Experience:
- 6+ years of combined experience in Project Management and Business Analysis.
- 5+ years of experience in customer service and client-facing roles.
- 6+ years of experience documenting project deliverables and workflows.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Visio, Project).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong focus on documentation, quality, and process adherence.
