Seeking a ITSM Administrator for a Hybrid-based long-term contract opportunity in Frankfort, KY. Candidates must have experience supporting the following skills within SCOM, ServiceNow, ITSM, Dynatrace and other listed below.
Job Description:
Seeking an ITSM Systems Administrator for a remote position. This position will be part of the team's System Center Team under the Enterprise Operations and Monitoring branch. The primary responsibility of this team is to provide more in-depth troubleshooting and diagnosis for issues that arise. They will work closely with other groups as well as the agencies within the division. This role will utilize tools such as Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) and Dynatrace to monitor the company's environment. This includes over 160 applications and over 500 servers within Dynatrace as well as many others within SCOM. The position also includes duties associated with the company's ITSM platform, ServiceNow. The position will be interacting directly with ITOM and CMDB Service Mapping to development relationships between applications and the IT Infrastructure.
The Company has had a mature installation of Dynatrace, SCOM and ServiceNow ITOM in the environment since 2020. We are seeking to expand and mature the capabilities of the platforms and continue to automate many of our internal processes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide subject matter expertise in the design, configuration and implementation of the following applications within the current environment:
  • Enterprise-Level monitoring including advanced troubleshooting with Microsoft System Center Operations Manager and Dynatrace for Enterprise-Level monitoring.
  • Maintain and mature the ServiceNow Configuration Management Data Base.
  • Maintain and enhance the ServiceNow Discovery Configurations.
  • Identifying and correcting issues related to Configuration Management, Discovery and Service Mapping including Configuration Identification (CI) identification, reconciliation, normalization, ownership, and relationships.
  • Develop CMDB Configuration Reports and Dashboards.
  • Provide configuration support to Hardware and Software Asset Management as it relates to ITOM functionality.
  • Provide support to requirement gathering sessions and user story development.
  • Provide support to developers to ensure the quality and design of functional capabilities are realized.
  • Research and evaluate technical solutions to make informed recommendations on the most appropriate, efficient and cost-effective solution based on the customer requirements and the statement of work.
  • Perform and participate in product roadmap planning.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant IT experience.
  • Experience in enterprise monitoring, including advanced troubleshooting of complex environmental\application issues.
  • Experience with Microsoft System Center Operations Manager and Dynatrace for Enterprise-Level monitoring.
  • Proficiency with scripting in PowerShell, JavaScript & Python.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or other related fields or equivalent professional experience.
  • Effective troubleshooting skills across datacenter infrastructure components - Network, F5, Operating Systems, SAN, Virtualization.
  • Excellent communication skills to provide timely updates on any and all issues, projects, and troubleshooting.

  • Dynatrace knowledge
  • Certified ServiceNow Implementation Specialist - Discovery
  • Certified ServiceNow Systems Administrator
  • Minimum of 3 years of configuration with the ServiceNow platform

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
