About the Role

As a contingent Information Security Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping and securing large-scale, complex systems. You'll consult on high-impact initiatives, provide strategic guidance, and engineer solutions that align with enterprise security standards. This role requires deep technical expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and a proactive approach to solving multifaceted security challenges.
Responsibilities

• Lead and consult on complex, large-scale information security engineering initiatives with broad organizational impact.
• Analyze and resolve multi-dimensional security challenges, including those involving novel or unprecedented factors.
• Design and implement secure solutions across infrastructure, applications, and identity systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with security policies, compliance requirements, and business objectives.
• Provide strategic input and technical leadership to client stakeholders and internal teams.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Information Security Engineering or equivalent experience through a combination of work, consulting, military service, or education.

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in information security applications and systems.
• 6+ years of experience in IT systems and application development.
• 6+ years of experience with SDLC, DevSecOps, and Agile methodologies, including hands-on use of related tools.
• 6+ years of experience with identity and access management (IAM) tools and frameworks.
• 6+ years of experience designing and integrating complex systems and security solutions.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• 2+ years of experience with Google Identity and Google Workspace.
• 2+ years of experience managing IAM roles, policy bindings, service accounts, and impersonation in cloud environments.
• 2+ years of experience with workforce and workload identity federation.
