We are seeking an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer to design, develop, and optimize database solutions supporting mission-critical applications. The ideal candidate has strong SQL/PLSQL expertise, experience with performance tuning, and the ability to collaborate with application teams to build efficient, scalable backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and views.
  • Optimize complex SQL queries and PL/SQL code for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with application developers to integrate backend database logic with front-end systems.
  • Develop ETL processes, data transformation pipelines, and batch jobs where required.
  • Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Perform database tuning, query optimization, and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks.
  • Create and maintain logical and physical data models, database schemas, and documentation.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across database environments.
  • Support production systems, participate in on-call rotations, and resolve database-related issues.
  • Develop and maintain scripts for automation, monitoring, and maintenance.
  • Assist in database upgrades, migrations, and patching activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field.
  • 4-8+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle SQL/PLSQL Developer.
  • Strong experience with Oracle 11g/12c/19c databases.
  • Expertise in writing and tuning complex PL/SQL code (procedures, packages, triggers).
  • Strong SQL query tuning and database performance optimization skills.
  • Experience with Oracle tools such as SQL Developer, TOAD, RMAN, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of RDBMS concepts, indexing, query planning, and data modeling.
  • Experience in ETL processes, batch processing, and large-scale data handling.
  • Knowledge of Unix/Linux shell scripting for automation.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Oracle APEX, Oracle Forms/Reports, or Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS).
  • Knowledge of modern data tools and platforms (Informatica, ODI, SSIS).
  • Exposure to cloud environments (Oracle Cloud, AWS RDS, Azure).
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git).
  • Experience migrating legacy databases to newer versions or cloud platforms
