Our client is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Product Manager to help shape the future of how they serve business customers across their global retail network. This role will own the strategy and execution for Small & Medium Business (SMB) initiatives driving innovation in the tools that empower in-store teams to build relationships, manage complex sales, and deliver world-class support to business clients.
You ll join a collaborative and fast-paced Retail Technology Product Team, partnering closely with Engineering, Merchandising, Operations, Online, and Marketing to develop technology solutions that elevate customer experiences and optimize store operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and orchestration of end-to-end technology solutions for the SMB customer lifecycle from initial engagement to post-sale support and relationship management.
Define and champion the product roadmap for CRM, order management, and customer communication systems, aligning with strategic goals and technical priorities.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Business, Engineering, and UI/UX teams to drive design reviews, feature prioritization, and release planning.
Author clear and detailed business requirements, epics, and user stories that translate business needs into actionable software direction.
Serve as a subject matter expert for the retail business technology stack, understanding dependencies across platforms to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Manage full project execution: coordinate funding, schedules, status, quality standards, and issue resolution across teams.
Partner with software engineering to reduce technical debt, introduce new technologies, and migrate to modern architectures.
Facilitate effective meetings and communicate complex technical concepts clearly to business and executive stakeholders.
Travel up to 15% (domestic and international) to connect with store teams and business clients.
Key Qualifications:
5+ years of product or technology management experience in B2B, retail, or enterprise systems.
Proven experience defining product requirements for CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) to support lead management, opportunity tracking, and 360 customer views.
Working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and order-to-cash lifecycles including quoting, purchasing, and invoicing.
Familiarity with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) and telephony/contact center platforms (e.g., Genesys).
Strong ability to translate business challenges into user-centered, technology-driven solutions.
Demonstrated success managing sophisticated, cross-functional technology projects.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Deep experience in Agile development, including JIRA/Confluence for backlog management, sprint planning, and acceptance criteria documentation.
Strong analytical mindset with a passion for improving user experiences and operational efficiency.
Education:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field required. MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Duration: 12-Month Contract (with potential extension)
Salary Range: $90 $110/hr (DOE, W2)
