Job Description: Your future duties and responsibilities
Our client, a major financial institution, needs a technical Senior Full Stack Developer to replace a legacy mainframe application with a modernized cloud-based solution. The legacy mainframe application is used for non-performing loans and will be replaced with multiple applications for specific functions. The team is composed of 6 people with 1 lead.

Work closely with the finance team to understand their needs and translate them into functional software.
Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.
Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle.
Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Senior Full Stack Developer with 8-10 years of relevant experience
8-10 skill set with Java, Angular, and Spring Boot.
The new applications are refactored in AWS and developed with Java, Angular and Spring Boot, and a Postgres DB.
This work is done in an Agile/SAFe environment, 2-week sprints.
Will focus on quality - acceptance of criteria and completing work timely with accurate code, minimize any defects that would delay progress.
Experience with AWS primary services and Postgres data base.
Proven experience and references delivering accurate code and meeting sprint timelines, excellent communication with team members
Emphasis of work develop and maintain financial software applications.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems or related field
