Job Opportunity: SAP Basis Migration consultant
Duration: 6 months
Location: Location: remote
Need active secret clearance
Role Overview: . The role also involves working closely with project teams to migrate from cloud-to-cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, or SAP NS2) and support system integration in secure, compliance-driven landscapes.
- SAP Basis Migration Experience required
- Serve as the Migration Admin SME for a variety of platforms
- Perform installation, configuration, migration, patching, and upgrades
- Manage migrations from cloud to cloud (e.g., AWS GovCloud, SAP NS2, Azure) ensuring compliance with FedRAMP/DoD IL requirements.
- Oversee system copies, backup/restore, and disaster recovery planning and testing.
- Integrate with SAP HANA and other data sources while ensuring data governance, encryption, and security compliance.
- Provide expert-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis for system issues.
- Collaborate with BASIS, Security, and Network teams for end-to-end solution delivery.
- Maintain documentation, runbooks, and system architecture diagrams.
- Ensure compliance with DoD STIGs, DISA IATT/A&A requirements, and cybersecurity standards.
- Experience with SAP cloud migrations (SAP NS2, AWS GovCloud, or Azure Government).
- Background in performance tuning, large dataset handling, and data quality management.
