Data Analyst

Responsibilities include analyzing data across its lifecycle, defining detailed functional specifications, and leveraging SQL, data models, and dimensional modeling to support data-driven solutions.

The role emphasizes strong analytical and communication skills to simplify complex concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences. Candidates must demonstrate expertise in requirements gathering, data interpretation, and documentation, supported by advanced SQL capabilities across platforms such as Oracle, Snowflake, and ANSI SQL. Familiarity with agile methodologies, continuous learning, and a results-oriented mindset is essential for contributing meaningful business value and navigating intricate data or process challenges.

Must Haves:

* Expert level SQL for data analysis and querying

* AWS data warehousing technologies. Understanding of cloud data models.

* Bringing in business requirements for data locations and flows for the data engineers to execute on.
* Systems Analyst mindset to understand how the systems are coming together, how they interact and how they connect, and then write concise business requirements tying the technical and business case together.

* Understand distributed systems to connect multiple systems

* Should have financial domain/asset management domain to understand complex security nuances.
