Job Details
Position Title: Confluent Kafka Infrastructure Engineer
Key responsibilities:
- Looking for engineers who install, configure, and support Confluent Kafka on premise with optional skills with Redpanda. We are not looking for developers who develop apps that use Kafka. Looking for candidates that install the vendor product
Must have technical skills/experience (ask for alternative/tool/version):
- Confluent Kafka - on-prem installation, configuration, and support. Ansible, Artifactory, Bitbucket, Agile SDLC, Jira, Linux (RedHat v8 or later)
Flex Skills:
- Redpanda - on-prem installation, configuration, and support, LDAP, Kerberos
Soft skills that would make a candidate successful in this role:
- Clear communication skills both written and verbal, ability to think outside the box with troubleshooting, good analytical skills to identify patterns, able to escalate and work with other teams
Education/Experience:
- Preferred bachelor's degree in a technical field
- Years of experience: 3-5 years
