Description

Join SAIC in supporting our enterprise data and analytics initiatives. As a Data Engineer, power the data. As a Data Engineer, you'll build and maintain ETL pipelines, ensure data quality, and support environments like Databrricks, Hadoop, and Spark.

This position is contingent upon award expected September 2025. Position will be located in Huntsville, AL and/or Washington, DC at the customer site. May offer remote work upon award.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Design and maintain data pipelines and environments for initiatives
Build and maintain ETL pipelines
Ensure data quality and integrity
Support Databricks, Hadoop, Spark environments
Integrate cloud-based data tools

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Active Secret Clearance, or ability to acquire one
Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, computer science, or related, or equivalent and 5+ years of related experience
5+ years of data engineering experience
Proficient in SQL, Python, Apache Kafka/Airflow
Cloud experience (AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory)

Preferred Qualifications
Databricks certification
DHS/DoD background

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
