Job Details
Health Technologies is looking for a iOS Software Engineer with Swift/SwiftUI experience to work on exploratory projects in the health and well-being space. Projects involve investigating new health sensing methods, prototyping health feature concepts, implementing smart ways of handling and visualization data from prototype sensors and hardware, and building research data collection systems. We are a unique group of enthusiastic engineers with a background in software, data, hardware, data science, machine learning/AI, clinical studies, health and physiology. Together we explore and invent new ways of sensing, measuring and understanding people's health and wellbeing. Our early research builds the foundation of exciting new health features in all of our Apple platforms and products. Come be a part of our software and data engineering team and make a difference.
Description In this position you will: Work closely with cross functional teams (e.g. Electrical/Firmware, Mechanical, Research, Data Science, Clinical Studies) in the joint goal of inventing, researching, and validating new health sensing methods and features Design software systems and solutions that support development, research and validation of new sensors and hardware, by enabling data exchange, collection, visualization and user interaction with prototypes Develop GUI based programs, services, frameworks and command-line tools Solve challenging problems like processing signal data, synchronizing data streams, understanding meaning from data and measured signals, and creating health and sensor data visualizations leveraging traditional approaches and emerging ones like 3D and immersive data visualization and experiences, generative AI (LLMs) and machine learning Share in our team's pride and sense of accountability to deliver high quality, reliable, robust, secure, privacy aware and well designed software, data systems, tools and frameworks Enjoy the journey and be comfortable with the process of working on new technologies in a research setting, often years ahead of product launch cycles
