Job Details

Title: Sr. New Product Development Engineer
Length of Contract: 6 Months
Location: Fitchburg, WI Ideal Start: 10/20/2025

Project:
New Product Development- Dishwasher

Day-to-day:

Making sure the dishes come out of the dishwasher clean. They are testing with ceramics, glassware and all different shapes and sizes.

If the dishes aren t coming out clean, do they need to change the temperature, the process, the power of the jets, the location of the jets etc.

Then they will create different tests to make sure those changes are optimal.
Manager said they need someone with a wash or dry background, they do not have to have dishwasher experience, they can have experience with anything that washes or dries.
Responsibilities:
This is more on front-end innovation and less on the market ready side.
Work with internal team members to develop tests, metrics, validate and verify (V&V) the information received from the test.

Use that information received to make recommendations about advancements, then start working on the new advancements.

(Client has technicians who will be running the tests).
Using SolidWorks to sketch rough models, then the designers will design the rough model
Skills:

Either have experience with Wash Performance or Dry performance- doesn't need to have both.
Simulation Experience/skills is encouraged/helpful and heavily preferred.
Ansys is what they are using but will accept any simulation experience.
Dishwasher Product Development Experience (Dishwasher- preferred but will accept any commercial or residential appliance that has a wash and/or dry cycle)
