Job Title: Product Owner/Manager
The Ideal Candidate:
You are a dedicated product management professional with a deep understanding of healthcare standards, payer enrollment workflows, and healthcare data exchange complexities. Your expertise enables you to define strategic visions, translate insights into actionable plans, and drive product success in a fast-paced environment.
In This Role, You Will:
- Lead the development and communication of the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, aligning with overall company objectives.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer engagement to identify opportunities and unmet needs.
- Develop compelling business cases, prioritize features, and translate strategic goals into clear, actionable product initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with leadership, sales, marketing, implementation, operations, and customer success teams to ensure product-market fit and readiness for launch.
- Prioritize enhancements and new features to maximize impact within resource constraints.
- Engage with internal stakeholders to identify pain points and growth opportunities, translating insights into product improvements.
- Work directly with customers and users to validate solutions, ensure usability, and promote adoption.
- Provide subject matter expertise on healthcare EDI transactions (such as 834, 835, 837, 270/271, 276/277, etc.) and payer enrollment workflows.
- Ensure all solutions comply with industry standards (HIPAA, CAQH, etc.) and regulatory requirements.
- Educate and guide the team on healthcare data exchange nuances and their business implications.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate product performance, iterating quickly to optimize outcomes.
- Stay informed about healthcare regulatory changes and evolving payer/provider needs to adapt product strategies accordingly.
Qualifications & Skills:
- A minimum of 4+ years of experience in product management within healthcare technology, payer systems, or revenue cycle management.
- Strong knowledge of EDI healthcare transactions and payer enrollment processes.
- Proven experience working in Agile environments, preferably with small, cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working autonomously and within a team.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively across departments, including Operations, Engineering, and Customer Success.
- Skilled at organizing and presenting complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Process-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent education and work experience.
- Experience in early-stage, high-growth healthcare IT startups is highly preferred.

Compensation: $65.00 - $70.00 Hourly
