Role: Senior Analyst, Web System Support
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: Long term
**7 years experience in US which is a mandatory requirement for background verification**
Required Qualifications
- Agile Experience Proven track record of working in Agile development and support environments.
- Cloud-Hosted Application Experience Strong expertise in managing applications in cloud environments with a focus on: - Linux/Unix operating systems - Web/Application servers such as Apache and Tomcat
- Medicare Experience Familiarity with Medicare systems, compliance standards, and healthcare IT workflows.
- DevOps Tools: - Git Version control and repository management - Jenkins Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
- Project Management & Collaboration: - Jira Ticket management and workflow tracking - Confluence Documentation and knowledge sharing Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Monitoring and Observability Tools: - Splunk - Datadog
- These tools are valuable for: - System health and performance monitoring - Log analysis - Root cause identification and resolution Day-to-Day Responsibilities As a Senior Analyst, Web System Support II, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the stability and performance of web-based and cloud applications. Your day will typically include the following activities: System Administration & Monitoring
- Monitor health and performance of Linux/Unix servers
- Use scripts and log analysis to proactively identify and resolve issues
- Configure and maintain Apache and Tomcat web servers Build and Deployment Support
- Manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
- Maintain the build environment and automate deployments
- Ensure safe code integrations using Git Ticket & Issue Tracking
- Use Jira to manage support tickets, track system issues, and collaborate with development teams
- Maintain accurate documentation using Confluence Application Integration
- Ensure seamless integration between distributed systems
- Troubleshoot system interoperability issues and optimize communication between services Monitoring & Root Cause Analysis
- Utilize tools such as Splunk or Datadog (if available) to:
- - Monitor applications
- - Investigate alerts and performance degradation
- - Identify root causes and implement fixes Strategic Contributions
- Provide technical guidance and recommendations aligned with long-term IT and cloud strategy
- Evaluate and propose emerging technologies for continuous improvement
