Description
SAIC is seeking a Junior Technical Writer in Hanahan, SC.
The Junior Technical Writer will assist senior technical writing staff in documentation of Technical Installation Manuals, plus perform other duties.
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Utilizing one or more word processing software packages to produce a variety of documents such as memos, publications, forms, reports, tables, and graphs.
- Editing and reformatting written or electronic drafts.
- Working in conjunction with and alongside technicians, logisticians, engineers and the customer to capture and document through written, pictorial and line drawing instructions the technical details of proposed and actual prototyping, and the assembly and integration of C4ISR systems into various military vehicle platforms.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED and Four (4) years of work experience
- Familiarity with office terminology and practices
