Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Infrastructure Specialist to design, implement, and manage Microsoft Fabric and Power BI environments, with particular expertise in client-facing deployments and external data sharing protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement Microsoft Fabric architecture and governance frameworks
- Configure and optimize Power BI environments for both internal and external stakeholders
- Establish and maintain data security protocols for external client access
- Develop tenant management strategies and workspace governance policies
- Design external sharing workflows and guest access protocols
- Manage capacity planning and performance optimization for Fabric workloads
- Establish monitoring and alerting systems for infrastructure health
- Collaborate with data teams to ensure proper data modeling and governance
- Train internal teams on best practices for client-facing Power BI solutions Required
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI and Power Platform
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Fabric (or strong experience with Azure Synapse/Azure Data Factory)
- Proven experience managing external client access to Power BI reports and dashboards
- Deep understanding of Power BI security models, including RLS, OLS, and tenant isolation
- Experience with Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) and external identity management
- Knowledge of data gateway management and hybrid connectivity scenarios
- Understanding of Power BI licensing models and capacity management
- Familiarity with Power BI REST APls and automation frameworks Preferred
- Microsoft certifications (PL-300, DP-600, or equivalent)
- Experience with Azure DevOps for Power BI deployment pipelines
- Knowledge of data compliance frameworks (GDPR, SOC2, etc.)
- Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architectures
- Background in enterprise data architecture and governance
