RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Kforce client located in Sausalito, CA is seeking a strategic, hands-on analytics consultant, responsible for driving high-impact analytics initiatives and bridging strategy and execution across the analyst team. This role will apply strong business acumen and a deep understanding of core retail processes to own end-to-end projects, bring clarity to ambiguous problems, elevate reporting quality and scalability, and guide the analyst team.
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field, ideally within retail, e-commerce, or consumer brands
* Advanced proficiency in SQL and strong experience with modern cloud data warehouses and BI platforms (Snowflake and Sigma preferred)
* Proven ability to independently lead complex, ambiguous analytics initiatives from concept through delivery
* Strong experience partnering with senior stakeholders and translating business strategy into clear analytical solutions
* Demonstrated ability to build scalable, well-governed dashboards, metrics, and data models that support both executive reporting and self-serve use cases
* Experience managing analytics workflows, priorities, and delivery timelines in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to clearly explain analytical logic to technical and non-technical audiences
* Strong business judgment with a demonstrated understanding of retail performance drivers across merchandising, marketing, inventory, and operations
* Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable balancing competing priorities while maintaining quality and rigor
* Advanced SQL experience
* Experience with Snowflake or other cloud warehousing tools (Databricks, BigQuery)
* Ticketing experience to help set ticketing best practices
* Experience in Jira is ideal
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
