602 Level Strong experience with design and development. Heavy backend focus with expertise in: Spring Boot Microservices Cloud (preferably AWS) Kubernetes IAM background is preferred JavaScript experience for front-end development is huge plus.

There are roles at all levels ranging from junior to senior, but it is important to note that from JPMC s perspective, a junior candidate should have 3-5 years of experience, a mid-level candidate will probably have 5-8 years of experience and a senior candidate will probably have 8-10+ years. If you truly believe you have a rockstar, let s discuss them. This team owns their applications from initial design, through development, testing, deployment and ongoing support. Senior candidates will be expected to have more extensive experience with application design/architecture; more junior candidates will need to have an understanding of these concepts but will have the opportunity to learn and gain experience in design in the role.
While it is important we dig in on application security experience with candidates, the specific IAM experience may really only be necessary for a couple of the most senior roles.
A great open-ended question to ask in your G2 would be: Tell me about your application security experience and any relevant related projects. This will give the candidate the opportunity to articulate their experience and give you the opportunity to evaluate both security experience and their overall communication skills, ability to provide detail on their experiences, etc
Things to listen for as they describe their experience: User authentication, user access/permissions/rights, tokens, session management, identity management,
Experience with DevOps concepts will be important for all roles (experience deploying containers, CI/CD principles, etc). AWS-specific experience is going to be highly-preferred.
