Experience & Requirements:
8+ years of HR Business Partner experience with a Bachelor s degree, or 6+ years with a Master s degree
Experience supporting 1000+ employees across multi-site retail locations
Strong knowledge of California labor laws and federal employment regulations
Proven ability to manage multi-unit operations and partner with store leaders across regions
Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills
Must be local to West Covina, CA and available to travel regularly
Preferred / Nice-to-Have:
Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)
HR Certifications: PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP
Experience in union or labor relations environments
Prior experience in retail or similar high-volume industry
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with store and regional leadership to deliver proactive, strategic HR support
Guide employee relations, performance management, organizational development, and workforce planning
Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) on initiatives in Talent Development, Compensation, Benefits, and DEI
Analyze HR metrics and trends to identify operational and engagement improvements
Ensure compliance with California employment laws and company policies
Drive change management and initiatives focused on teammate engagement and retention
Oversee headcount management and coordinate with RPO for regional staffing needs
