Job Title: Senior Cloud Automation Engineer
Location: 100% Remote - EST Hours
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Automation Engineer who is proficient in automation tools such as Ansible Tower and Terraform for infrastructure as code (IAC). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS cloud environments and a proven track record of implementing automation solutions to streamline operational processes.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain automation solutions using Ansible Tower and Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate and optimize cloud infrastructure deployment and management in AWS.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and monitoring of cloud applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve automation issues to ensure the reliability and scalability of cloud environments.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in cloud automation and infrastructure as code.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong experience with Ansible Tower and Terraform for automation and infrastructure as code.
- Extensive knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
