This is a hybrid role in the Raleigh-Durham, NC area and no relocation assistance is available.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide analytical support to sales, account management, and marketing teams focused on employee benefits products, including health, dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary benefits.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, pricing strategies, and potential new business opportunities.
- Develop and maintain reports tracking production, retention, and revenue growth across brokers, territories, and specific benefit lines.
- Create and distribute marketing dashboards using Excel and other tools to monitor KPIs.
- Research and identify prospective brokers, agencies, and employer groups for targeted outreach and onboarding.
- Support new broker onboarding with data setup, system training, and marketing collateral to ensure a smooth start.
- Track and evaluate marketing campaigns, broker incentives, and enrollment initiatives, providing ROI analysis and recommendations for optimization.
- Collaborate with marketing leadership to design data-driven strategies for increasing participation rates in voluntary benefits programs.
- Assist with enrollment season preparation, including campaign tracking, broker engagement reports, and territory readiness assessments.
- Monitor large broker partner performance and develop quarterly scorecards to share with leadership.
- Partner with sales and marketing teams on special projects to drive premium growth, retention, and new business acquisition.
Skills & Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in marketing analytics, preferably within insurance or related industries.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, as well as experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, Dynamics, etc.).
- Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable business strategies.
- Experience tracking and reporting on marketing KPIs, campaign performance, and retention metrics.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelors degree or higher in Business, Analytics, Marketing, or related field is preferred.
