MetaPhase is seeking a Scrum Master with at least 3 years of experience to support a mission-critical program within the FBI under the ITSSS -2 contract. You will facilitate Agile delivery of a custom-built application and support a collaborative team focused on delivering high-value functionality for our federal client. This is a highly client-facing position that requires agility, organization, and strong interpersonal skills.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Lead Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, demos) and foster continuous delivery and team accountability
  • Serve as a primary liaison between technical delivery teams and client stakeholders, helping ensure alignment and understanding of goals
  • Support backlog refinement by guiding user story creation and prioritization aligned with evolving business needs
  • Promote collaboration across Development Teams to coordinate dependencies, share knowledge, and reduce delivery risks
  • Track and communicate sprint metrics, team velocity, and progress toward goals using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
  • Proactively identify and remove impediments to team progress, escalating as needed
  • Promote Agile best practices, facilitating collaboration, transparency, and high-quality delivery across the team
  • Assist with drafting business and functional requirements as needed and contribute to roadmap planning


What We Need From You (Required):

  • Current active Top-Secret clearance, with SCI eligibility. U.S. Citizenship required (NO EXCEPTIONS)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • 3+ years of experience supporting Agile projects, including at least 1 year in a Scrum Master role
  • Active Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification
  • Experience facilitating Agile delivery in a government consulting or federal environment
  • Strong communication , stakeholder engagement, and team coordination skills

Bonus Points (Desired):
  • Prior experience supporting FBI, DOJ, or related national security missions
  • Experience with Jira, ServiceNow, or other Agile toolsets
  • Scaled Agile Framework ( SAFe ) familiarity or certification


Work Setup & Clearance:

  • Hybrid in Washington, DC


  • Position requires a current, active Top-Secret clearance with the capability to obtain an (SCI) as requested by the government. U.S. Citizenship required (NO EXCEPTIONS)


Travel:

  • Occasional travel to Winchester, VA


Compensation:

  • Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is 120k-140k
