ITAM Governance Lead

We are seeking an experienced IT Asset Management professional to lead the establishment and enforcement of a new ITAM Governance Framework for a leading enterprise. This is a critical role for someone with a strategic mindset and a passion for operational excellence and risk mitigation. You will collaborate with a wide range of teams including Procurement, Finance, IT Security, and Legal to ensure compliance and drive cultural change within the organization. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape governance initiatives from the ground up and has the potential to convert to a full-time role.

Establish an ITAM Governance Framework and develop corresponding processes and procedures.

Collaborate across various departments to define ownership, accountability, and compliance metrics.

Design and implement KPIs and reporting for asset performance, contract utilization, and vendor compliance.

Serve as a subject matter expert for transformation programs and operational initiatives.

10+ years of professional experience in IT Asset Management or a related field.

Proven ability to drive governance initiatives and influence culture change.

Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Must be willing to work in a hybrid capacity, with 60% of time spent on-site in Houston, TX.
