Solutions Architect

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a hybrid Solutions Architect to join their team in Atlanta, GA.

Summary:
The Enterprise Applications Solution Architect is responsible for the architecture and solution design of Enterprise Applications ecosystem which is the backbone of critical functions such as HR, Accounting, franchise operations and guest support. They will lead complex projects and ensures the success of Enterprise Applications solution development and roll outs. They will also serve as a subject matter expert and trusted technical advisor to the Executive and Leadership team.

Responsibilities:
* Design and architect scalable and distributed Enterprise Applications solutions
* Collaborate with other Solution architects and technical leads
* Design solutions that are scalable and flexible to support different requirements
* Influence the successful implementation of these designs and architectures by managing expectations and risks and balancing tactical and strategic approach
* Work with the business to understand and solve complex problems, by presenting various solution options and technical concepts in a comprehensible manner
* Collaborate with the delivery teams to provide direction and design in an Agile environment
* Create reliable solution plans
* Identify new disruptive technologies to provide business value
* Create and participate in the establishment of solid enterprise platforms

REQUIREMENTS:
* 4 year/Bachelor's degree, Computer Science or Engineering; Graduate degree Computer Science preferred
* Minimum 10 years, preferably 12+ years of experience in application design and development, and systems life cycle management
* 5+ years of architecture experience working on complex enterprise ecosystems involving integrating SaaS, on-prem and cloud applications
* 3+ years of enterprise applications experience in food or retail industry
* Demonstrable experience with implementing solution ecosystem
* Demonstrable experience with implementing IAM and SSO solution across multiple SaaS, on-prem/cloud application ecosystem
* Experience with IAM/SSO technologies
* Experience with various integration technologies
* Experience with creating solutions with some SaaS Platforms
* Strong demonstrable experience leading architecture development for enterprise scale systems
* Experience converting business requirements to designs and user stories
* Experience working in an Agile environment across multiple scrum teams
* Experience working with both RDBMS and NoSQL databases
* Deep understanding of Application, Infrastructure and security architecture and non-functional aspects like Performance, Scalability, Reliability, Availability, all the so-called -capabilities- of a system
* Excellent verbal and written communication as well as presentation skills
* Knowledge and experience in REST API, Microservices, SwaggerHub, Java, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
