RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Dallas, TX that is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in release management, CI/CD automation, and Azure environments. This role will focus on building and maintaining deployment pipelines, supporting migration initiatives, and ensuring smooth application releases in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* DevOps Engineer will drive release management and DevOps automation initiatives
* Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment
* Support migration from Octopus Deploy to GitHub Actions (preferred) or Azure DevOps (ADO)
* As a DevOps Engineer, you will manage deployments in Azure environments
* Collaborate with teams using Jira (boards/tracking) and GitHub (repositories)
REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven experience in DevOps engineering, focusing on CI/CD and release automation
* Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps
* Migration experience
* Strong knowledge of Azure cloud environments
* Familiarity with Jira and GitHub for collaboration
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
* CI/CD Build, Release, Deployment
* Azure Expertise (must-have)
Nice-to-Have:
* Linux, Bash, Shell scripting, Python
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
