Responsibilities
- Develop, document, and execute detailed test cases and test scripts based on business requirements and functional specifications.
- Perform manual testing, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools, ensuring clear communication with development teams.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Verify that software meets quality standards and adheres to requirements before release.
- Assist in creating and maintaining test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
- Participate in requirement reviews to provide feedback on testability and quality.
- Support post-release validation and assist with troubleshooting production issues.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Basic understanding of relational databases and ability to write simple SQL queries for data validation.
- Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr).

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3-5 years of professional experience in manual software testing.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with creating and executing test cases, test plans, and defect reports.
- Familiarity with bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
- Basic knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing processes.
- Proficiency with tools like Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) for documentation purposes.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to identify edge cases.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
