Job Details

SAP MDG Functional Consultant (FICO + A&D Experience Required)
6 Months +
ONSITE -Seattle WA

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the functional lead for SAP MDG implementation and support, specifically for Finance master data (GL Accounts, Cost Centers, Profit Centers, etc.).
Collaborate with stakeholders from finance, compliance, and data governance teams in an A&D industry environment.
Configure SAP MDG modules including Data Models, UI, Workflow, and BRF+ rules.
Ensure strong integration and alignment between SAP MDG and SAP FICO modules.
Support master data strategy, data validation rules, business process workflow, and governance policies specific to A&D regulatory requirements.
Lead functional testing, UAT, training, and deployment activities.
Provide ongoing production support, defect resolution, and process optimization post-go-live.

Required Skills and Experience:

SAP functional experience, SAP MDG hands-on configuration. Strong experience in SAP FICO modules and financial master data integration.
Mandatory: Prior working experience in the Aerospace & Defense (A&D) industry, with understanding of compliance and regulatory nuances in data handling.
Proficiency in MDG Finance objects (GL, Cost Center, Profit Center).
Strong experience with BRF+, FPM UI, and MDG Workflow configuration.
Experience in projects involving ECC or S/4HANA.
Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, client-facing environment

Nice to Have:

Experience with SAP S/4HANA environment.
Familiarity with MDG Consolidation or Mass Processing features.
Prior experience in manufacturing, retail, or tech industry domains
