Important Note: This role requires onsite work 4 5 days per week.
DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES:
This position will serve as a GIS Developer for TxDOTCONNECT. The work involves planning developing, implementing, supporting and maintaining the geospatial components.
The essential duties for this position include but are not limited to:
-Design and build new features, functionality and modules
-Complete user stories, bugs, and technical debt
-Review and modify code for front-end/GIS modules and tools
-Review and modify scripts for database (ArcSDE)
-Evaluate user requests for new features/functionality and provide any necessary technical assistance
-Monitor application performance and recommend/implement efficiency improvements
-Help resolve security risks and vulnerabilities
-Publish, tune, and troubleshoot ArcGIS Server map services
-Participate in the design of secure and efficient geospatial architectures
-Work as part of a Scrum Team and within the Agile methodology
-Work with cross-functional teams and vendors
Minimum Qualifications
8+ years
Development, testing, installation, and deployment of customized GIS applications
HTML5, CSS
JavaScript, TypeScript
Angular
Esri ArcGIS
JavaScript API (version 3.x and 4.x)
ArcSDE
ArcGIS Server
Configuration and troubleshooting
Map service publishing, tuning, and troubleshooting
ArcGIS Desktop (ArcMap/ArcPro, ArcCatalog)
Esri APIs
ArcGIS API for Python
ArcPy
ArcGIS REST API
Oracle, SQL Server, PL/SQL
IDEs/tools (Eclipse, Visual Studio, IntelliJ, SSMS, SQL Developer, ADO) or similar
Version control systems (Azure DevOps, GIT)
