Job Description:

  • We are seeking a skilled iOS Developer with strong expertise in Couchbase to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building and maintaining scalable mobile applications and integrating Couchbase NoSQL databases in iOS environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform using Swift and/or Objective-C.
  • Integrate Couchbase Mobile (Lite) into iOS applications, including Sync Gateway configuration.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Work with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in iOS app development.
  • Proficient in Swift and Objective-C.
  • Solid experience with Couchbase Lite and Sync Gateway.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases and mobile data synchronization.
  • Familiar with MVVM/MVC architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of Xcode, Cocoa Touch, and Apple Human Interface Guidelines.
  • Understanding of mobile security and data protection best practices.

Preferred:

  • Experience with offline-first mobile apps.
  • Familiarity with other NoSQL databases like Realm or Firebase.
  • Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD for mobile apps.
