Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Technical Writers to join our client's team. Your role will be helping to rewrite existing standard operating procedures and job aids. The ideal candidate will be skilled at taking complex information from subject matter experts and transforming it into clear, easy-to-understand documentation. If you are an experienced technical writer with a background in the healthcare insurance industry, we have an opportunity available for you!
Key Responsibilities include:
Conduct conversations with subject matter experts to gather and understand complex information.
Craft and write clear, concise documentation, including job aids and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Collaborate with team members to rewrite existing documentation.
Utilize tools such as Word and SharePoint for documentation and data management.
Review information from Excel spreadsheets to compare with existing documents, though no complex data manipulation is required.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of high school diploma or GED.
3-5 years of experience as a technical writer.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and SharePoint.
Strong communication skills to engage with subject matter experts and ask relevant questions.
Strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in the healthcare insurance industry.
A writing portfolio or samples of previous work.
