Job Details

Location: Dallas, TX
Salary: $20.00 USD Hourly - $21.00 USD Hourly
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Desktop Support Technician.

Responsibilities:

Provide desk-side support for end-user devices, including desktops, laptops, tablets, and printers.

Perform basic to moderately complex troubleshooting and repairs

Support VIP users with high-priority technical issues

Execute Install/Move/Add/Change (IMAC) activities

Respond to change management requests and perform hardware/software installations.

Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and meet service metrics

Communicate proactively with users and the service desk regarding issue status and resolution timelines

Adhere to documented service operations policies and procedures

Perform other duties or obtain additional certifications as required by business needs

Minimum Qualifications:

Technical certification or equivalent experience (2-4 years in a relevant IT support role)

OEM certifications (must be maintained as directed by management)

Proficiency in Active Directory (user account management)

Experience with SCCM (system imaging, software deployment, and updates)

Familiarity with Remedy and ServiceNow ticketing systems

Working knowledge of ITIL methodologies

A+ Certification (preferred)

Ability to lift and move computer equipment up to 50 lbs

Ownership of a basic repair toolkit

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in corporate or manufacturing IT environments

Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware and software platforms

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and follow documented processes

Strong interpersonal and written communication abilities
