We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced NLP Engineer with expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP) to join our innovative team. As a Data Architect/Senior NLP Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing robust data architectures that support advanced NLP applications and drive business value.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop scalable and efficient data architectures that enable the seamless integration of NLP technologies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders, to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Evaluate and select appropriate NLP tools, frameworks, and libraries to support text processing, sentiment analysis, named entity recognition, and other NLP tasks
Develop and maintain data pipelines and workflows to process, transform, and analyze large volumes of unstructured text data
Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with industry standards and regulations
Optimize data storage and retrieval mechanisms to support efficient NLP model training and inference
Contribute to the development of NLP models and algorithms, working closely with data scientists and machine learning engineers
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in NLP and data architecture, and propose innovative solutions to improve system performance and capabilities
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
5+ years of experience as a Data Architect, with a strong focus on designing and implementing data solutions for NLP applications
Deep understanding of NLP concepts, techniques, and algorithms, such as text preprocessing, tokenization, lemmatization, POS tagging, NER, feature extraction, semantic analysis, and language modeling
Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in NLP, such as Python, Java, or R
Experience with NLP frameworks and libraries, such as NLTK, spaCy, Stanford CoreNLP, or TensorFlow
Must have strong Healthcare expertise.
Expertise in designing and optimizing data storage systems, such as relational databases, NoSQL databases, and data lakes
Knowledge of big data technologies, such as Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark, or Apache Kafka
Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure, and their NLP services
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome technical challenges
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
