Our direct client, a financial services company is seeking a Information Security Engineer for a long-term consulting engagement. This position is hybrid in NYC or Jersey City NJ. 1-2 days per week onsite
Compensation $70-$76 per hour W2, W2 only NO 3RD PARTIES PLEASE.
Hybrid position: 1 to 2 days onsite in NYC or Jersey City, NJ
Must Have Qualifications:
- 7 to 10 years of IT Security
- Knowledge of OKTA, onboarding applications
- Knowledge of AWS, and review changes to ensure they are secure
- Active Directory - increase security and hardening of Active Directory
- Privileged Access Management
- Knowledge of Networking, IP addresses and VLAN
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- In a team environment, implementing various security projects and administration and monitoring of various security systems
- Collaborate with development teams and onboard applications OIDC/SAML with identity provider for singe-sign-on
- Build automation to optimize PAM processes such as built-in account discovery from Linux endpoints, inactive system/account management
- Implement baseline configuration standards and security hardening on core services such as Active Directory. DNS and DHCP
- Establish and deploy security guardrails to AWS infrastructure as infrastructure as code through Git
- Familiar the common types of cyber-attacks and countermeasures
