Title: Senior Business Analyst - Hybrid (3 Days Onsite)

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Senior Business Analyst to join our team on a hybrid basis (3 days onsite). The ideal candidate will come from a mid-size software company background, possessing extensive experience in manufacturing systems. This individual will demonstrate a strong understanding of software, widgets, and B2B messaging processing, coupled with exceptional business and technical acumen that goes beyond traditional requirements gathering. The Senior Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our projects by conducting thorough unit testing and ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and objectives, translating them into detailed requirements and functional specifications.
  2. Analyze existing systems and processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  3. Lead requirements gathering sessions, workshops, and stakeholder meetings to elicit and prioritize business requirements.
  4. Develop comprehensive documentation including business requirements documents, use cases, user stories, and process flows.
  5. Work closely with cross-functional teams including software developers, QA engineers, and project managers to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
  6. Conduct thorough unit testing of software applications, ensuring high quality and adherence to specifications.
  7. Provide ongoing support and guidance to the development team throughout the software development lifecycle.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to manufacturing systems, software development, and business analysis.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMP) are a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a mid-size software company, with a focus on manufacturing systems.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • In-depth understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and their application in business analysis.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
