The Multi-domain Solutions Division (MDS) within the Leidos National Security Sector is seeking a skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to join a new cyber security program and play a key role in supporting government-critical systems. You will be part of a program that oversees development, integration, delivery, and operations and maintenance of IT managed security services, which encompasses support to monitor the cybersecurity threat and security posture situational awareness for the enterprise. This opportunity is in anticipation of a future contract award!

What you'll be doing:
- Design, implement, and optimize scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions.
- Apply extensive experience in cloud architecture, automation, and security across platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cloud adoption, streamline operations, and enhance infrastructure reliability.
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Develop and implement cloud automation, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
- Optimize cloud environments for cost, performance, and security best practices.
- Implement cloud security measures, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and compliance frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO 27001).
- Support cloud migration initiatives, including application modernization and hybrid-cloud integrations.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve cloud performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Work closely with DevOps, cybersecurity, and development teams to enhance cloud-based solutions.
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and recommend enhancements for continuous improvement.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on cloud best practices.
What does Leidos need from me?
- Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) with Polygraph security clearance required.
- Master's with 15 to 20 years of prior relevant experience or Doctorate with 13 to 16 years of prior relevant experience. Experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

- Security+ or other IAT I
