Role: Workday Tenant Management Lead
Location: Raleigh, NC OR Detriot, MI (Onsite) Type: Contract Duration: 6+ Months (Contract, C2C/W2)
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Workday Tenant Management Lead to oversee tenant lifecycle operations, release management, and environment optimization across HR and Finance domains. The ideal candidate will have strong Workday tenant strategy experience, release planning, and cross-functional coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Oversight: Define and implement tenant lifecycle strategies including expiration dates, budgeting, and refresh planning.
Coordination & Communication: Act as the primary liaison between HR, Finance Business Enablement, and Tech Delivery teams for tenant operations.
Tenant Provisioning & Refresh: Oversee provisioning and refresh of Workday tenants with production data, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
Performance Monitoring: Track and optimize tenant health using performance metrics; troubleshoot and resolve issues proactively.
Release Management: Lead planning, validation, and implementation of Workday s bi-annual releases (R1 & R2).
Reporting & Strategy: Generate dashboards and reports on tenant performance, lifecycle management, and release outcomes for executive stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience:
8+ years of Workday HCM/Finance experience with tenant management expertise.
Proven track record managing Workday tenant lifecycle, refreshes, and release cycles.
Strong understanding of Workday HCM/Finance modules.
Experience in release testing, validation, and environment configuration.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and reporting skills.
Strong knowledge of HR/Finance processes and Workday architecture.
